Ms. Orna Yakir, a renowned Israeli radio broadcaster wrote a play "Gili" in Hebrew based on Dr. Henya Shanun-Klein's "Gili's Book." This original monodrama won first place award of Theatroneto Festival that took place on April 7-10/2005 in Tel Aviv. The play was staged at Habimah, the Israeli National Theatre. It gained national recognition and glorious reviews on television, radio and newspapers. Ms. Sarit Vino-Elad was the award winning Israeli actress who played Dr. Shanun-Klein, Mr. Zechariah Tuby was the award winning director, Ms. Ella Armoni was the child actress whose played Gili's voice, Ms. Lea Shabat, a famous Israeli soul singer, composed and sang the songs for the play, Ms. Dafna Peretz was the stage designer and artist, and Mr. Tomer Cohen was the producer.

The play "Gili" will continue to run in Israel on other stages than Habimah and is being translated into English and Norwegian.

The play script will be soon published in a book format both in the original Hebrew version and the English translation.
